Pupil progress Summary 2017

Epinay School has introduced a rigorous new system for monitoring and tracking progress. Key indicators from our first set of progress figures are outlined below

79% of pupils met or exceeded their English targets

82% of pupils met or exceeded their maths targets

English Maths
Average rate of increase in English Whole School 1.98 steps Average rate of increase in maths; Whole School 1.5 steps
8 year groups recorded progress above expectations in reading 9 year groups recorded progress above expectations
Progress towards reading targets was greatest in Key Stage 3 (91.3%) and Keg Stage 4 (90.4%)  Progress towards writing targets was greatest in Key stage 1 (87.5%) and Key Stage 4 (87.1%) In key stages 1,(100%) 2, (88.24%) and 4 (95.65%) pupils exceeded their targets.
Progress in reading is better than progress in writing Girls’ progress is 0.2 steps greater than boys
Boys progress 0.2 steps greater than girls Pupil Premium pupils make better progress than the whole school cohort in maths
Pupil Premium pupils make: -greater progress towards targets in reading than in writing -better progress than the whole school cohort in both reading and writing  

As an outstanding school we ensure that our systems are robust and our targets present challenge.  Our new system challenges pupils to make outstanding progress.  We judge progress towards targets and attainment across the school to be outstanding.
